Lodi Community BandSummer 2024 rehearsals will begin on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Summer jazz ensemble rehearsals will begin at 6:00 p.m., with concert band rehearsals following immediately after at 7:00 p.m. at San Joaquin Delta College, 5151 Pacific Avenue, Holt 113, Stockton, California. All members of the jazz ensemble must also be a member of the concert band.

In order to be a member of the Band, you must register as a San Joaquin Delta College student via the college’s online registration system. If you have not previously enrolled in a Delta College class or more than two semesters have elapsed since you last attended the college, you must reapply for admission following the step-by-step directions set forth on Deltaโ€™s website. It is extremely helpful and very much appreciated if you apply and/or register prior to the first rehearsal, because that minimizes the amount of time spent dealing with administrative/clerical matters and allows us to devote the bulk of our time together rehearsing!

After you have completed the application process or, if you are a continuing student, you must enroll in one of two classes: If you would like to receive one unit of college credit at a cost of $26.00, register for Music 028 (Course No. 50533). If you prefer to audit the course and not receive college credit, register for Music 128 (Course No. 50534). There is no cost to audit the course.

High school students, please note: You are invited to be a member of the Lodi Community Band and earn one unit of credit from Delta College, but you must be concurrently enrolled in your high schoolโ€™s band and obtain permission from both your principal and high school band director. The forms may be obtained from Mr. Holton at the first rehearsal of the semester.
