The Lodi Community Band’s rehearsals resume on Monday, January 7, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Band Room of Millswood Middle School, 233 North Mills Avenue, Lodi.
In order to be a member of the Band, you must register for the Spring 2008 Semester. The easiest way to register is via San Joaquin Delta College’s online registration program. If you would like to receive one unit of college credit, register for Music 028 (Course No. 91481) at a cost of $20.00. If you prefer to audit the course and not receive one unit of college credit (you may earn a maximum of four credits), register for Music 128 (Course No. 67514).
If you have not previously enrolled in a Delta College class or more than two semesters have elapsed since you last attended the college, you must reapply for admission following the step-by-step directions set forth on Delta’s website.
High school students, please note: You are invited to be a member of the Lodi Community Band and earn one unit of credit from Delta College, but you must be concurrently enrolled in your high school’s band and obtain permission from both your principal and band director. Mr. Gross will provide you with the required forms at the first rehearsal. It is your responsibility to obtain those individuals’ signatures and return the completed forms to Mr. Gross.
